The events team at Tower Bridge love autumn, and so do our clients!
With the darker mornings and evenings, we can start to use bold colours with complementary lighting to create a vibrant atmosphere.
One of our favourite autumnal dinner set-ups this season was in Tower Bridge’s Engine Rooms, with the assistance of our wonderful suppliers Pinstripes & Peonies and Just 4 Linen. The colours on the banquet table complement the space, allowing the guests to look at the beautiful detail whilst they enjoy dinner. It’s not just the leaves that bring colour to the table. With the pumpkins being in season, it’s a great way to add decoration to the table and it’s also very cost effective.
On arrival, guests were greeted with a Seasoned Events’ cocktail special Bourbon and honey Bitters to whet their appetite. This was followed by a starter of roasted butternut pumpkin soup and one of our most popular main dishes slow braised feather blade of beef with nutmeg & thyme, pomme purée and mustard greens. To complete this autumnal banquet guests enjoyed Seasoned’s striped mulled pear with apple & cinnamon ice cream, ginger biscotti crumble and pistachio chocolate bark. Guests departed the Engine Rooms event with smiles on their faces and pumpkins in their heart!
